I hate basketball and everything that comes with it. Screw you basketball for making the next however many days of sports talk radio filled with this dribble. But with a little help from a local radio show I listen to I decided to make up a bracket. A more interesting/more fun bracket. A bracket of sweet prom songs.

Damn Your Eyes

I haven't shaved for a good 5 days. Got a nice beard growing in. I've noticed my beard grows in thicker than it use to. Granted it isn't a Bragg beard but I think if I let it grow out it would be a close second. 

I want to buy a place in OC. In this economy if you can't afford two homes then what can you afford? Don't get me wrong I don't mind crashing at friends places and moms. But nothing really feels like home base to me anymore. I haven't really felt like I have had a true home in years. I guess it is always because I have always been looking for the next best thing. Never getting settled you know. Well I appreciate the best but I am going to start settling for less. I think I am growing up.....

I'm getting tired of everyone asking about Texas. It didn't work. I crashed and burned on that one. Oops! Funny thing is she is exactly in the mind frame I was in our first go around. Timing is a funny thing. What a waste, we were good together. Damn your eyes!!(that's for you Taylor)

Speaking of Texas I would like to officially beg all my friends and family to refrain from the cliche sayings. If I have to hear "things happen for a reason" one more time murder suicides will occur.  What reason is there for my heart to hurt ever? Son of a bitch......

Africa by Toto - amazingly fun song. Also Oh Sherrie by Steve Perry. And Kiss on my list by Hall and Oates. They make me smile. I think I'll rock some Chicago next....

I've learned I am streaky in athletics. I'll go two weeks of being awesome then crickets for weeks after that. I think I am starting a week of crickets. 

Speaking of hockey, got to say I really enjoy this new league we are in. Partly because I am one of the best players on the ice, but mainly because I enjoy watching Ethan and Jason on defense. Ethan if you are reading this, please always play defense. The fact I can find you guys lower down in the offensive zone than me makes me warm inside. I don't think I've laughed as much as I did on the ice that game.  I really hope you girls get on board with playing. It's a lot of laughs out there!

Ethan inspired me to really take up an instrument. Often times we stick to much to what we know and what we are good at. So my first step was offering up feelings to someone. We saw how that worked, so I am going to go with something a little less unforgiving. A guitar. Taylor would be proud of me. I spent a good 2 hours just messing around with my cheap guitar last night.  We got a lot of work to do....Money Beets here we come.
